ReadiStep provides several reports to help students, schools, and districts understand student performance:

What’s New for 2011-12

  • Enhancements to Student Score Reports:
New student reports present score and percentile information more clearly and include the correct answer, student answer, and level of difficulty for each question.
  • Online College and Career Exploration:
All ReadiStep test takers receive free access to MyRoad™, an online college and career exploration tool. A MyRoad access code is provided on the student score report.
  • Summary of Answers and Skills (SOAS) Reports:
Like PSAT/NMSQT, ReadiStep now provides SOAS reports, which offer a detailed analysis of skill- and question-level performance. These reports help schools and districts identify specific areas in which to focus improvement efforts.

Summary of Answers and Skills (SOAS) Reports

SOAS reports shows a detailed analysis of aggregate students performance on each question and skill measured by ReadiStep. This information can help your school or district make curriculum adjustments and identify remediation efforts to improve learning.

SOAS Components:

  • The Performance Overview shows the number of students included in the report, their mean scores and score distribution.
  • The Skills Analysis shows how your students performed on each of the skills measured by ReadiStep. These same skills are measured by the PSAT/NSMQT® and SAT®. You can also see how your students performed compared to other students in the state and the nation.
  • The Question Analysis shows student responses and answer patterns for each test question. You can also see how your students performed compared to other students in the state and the nation.
The Comparable Group Analysis allows you to easily see the test questions where your students’ performance diverged from what was expected. In this section, your students’ performance is shown relative to a statistically created Comparable Group.

ReadiStep SOAS reports will be provided for schools and districts that test at least 25 students in a grade. Fall 2011 reports will be mailed in mid-February to the contact indicated on the original ReadiStep order. They will be delivered as PDFs on CDs.
